Biography: Bulgarian international striker who enjoyed a purple patch at Pompey, scoring on average a goal for every two and a half games played and earing the Player of the Year award in 2002/3. He was signed by Harry Redknapp, for £750,000 in March 2002 - the manager obviously appreciated his ability having previously been his boss at West Ham. Having fallen out of the first team, he was given a free transfer and joined Charlton Athletic in July 2007. He is now back in Bulagaria playing for one of his former clubs, Litex Lovech Player of the Year 2002-3
