Biography: Outside-left born in Titchfield, joined Southampton before the outbreakof WWII. After whichhe returned to the Dell to play mainly reserve team football for five years with the odd run in the first team. He moved to Gillingham in 1950 scoring twelve goals in thirty six games, before moving to non league football ending his playing days at Canterbury, where he died aged 79 in 1999
