Biography: An England under 21 international, Vernazza made seven consecutive appearances for Pompey during a loan spell in 1999/2000. He was registered as an Arsenal player at the time and did appear at the highest level for the Gunners. Now playing in non-league football and he joined his current club Hemel Hempstead Town in March 2010.
