Former Pompey team-mate Kevin Harper added a tribute on LinkedIn: "I received sad news the earlier this week that my former Portsmouth F.C team mate Jamie Vincent passed away at the age of 46. Any words that i have would not do him justice, he was such a good guy to have in the dressing room, on the pitch and he gave 100\% no matter how the team were playing he was such a consistent performer. He was always there with a joke, smile or a crazy story to lift the gloom in the room or changing room. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, team mates and everyone who knew him. Rest in Peace mate".
