Biography: Already a full international, Vlachos became Alan Ball's first signing and the first Greek to play for the club when he joined on a 'Bosman' free transfer in 1998. He immediately added grit to the midfield and managed to help avoid impending relegation from the First Division. Joined Walsall two years later before returning home to start a career in management with amateur side ApollonEretrias. Since 2008, he has been in charge at Peramaikos.
