Biography: Turned professional with Mansfield in the early sixties, tremendous scoring record in tandem with Roy Chapman (Lee Chapman's father). Was sold to Hull City where he also scored a lot of goals and is still listed as one of their favourite players. Retired to run a pub. Last heard of managing a Social Club in Hull.

Wagstaff, Ken When Ken came back from playing in Australia he wanted to play again for Hull City but couldn't because he had claimed on the FA's insurance policy. He decided to play in the Hull Amateur league for JH Fenner of which I was a player for. I remember him always playing balls into spaces rather than to feet, something we had not witnessed at the time.
