Walker, John Johnnie Walker, known to his family as Jack. He was my mother’s Young brother. He was a very funny man outside of football. Since he retired from “The Beautiful Game“ he lived in the village Of Theale on the outskirts of Reading. Everyone in the village loved him for his jokes, patter and singing whilst going through the village for his groceries. Sadly he passed away on 23rd January 2019 and his Funeral left Theale the whole Villagers lined both sides of the Street. When the Funeral Cortège arrived at The Crematorium it was met by Supporters of of the three teams he played for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southampton and Reading all wearing club colour. His Coffin was carried into the crematorium to the sound of a Scottish Piper playing Flower Of Scotland. He will be in all our Families Thoughts for Ever. R.I.P. Uncle Jack xxx
