Whitefoot, Jeff My Grandma and Geoffs Mum were sisters.
Her name was Lucy Walker and lived on Frances Street, Cheadle.
My mum was Phyllis Walker who was Geoff's cousin.
My last recollection of Geoff was when he came round to Platt Street, Cheadle, where is Mum Nellie lived, to show us his FA Cup winner's medal after beating Luton Town at Wembley.

Whitefoot, Jeff I was 17 when Jeff signed for Grimsby. Allenby Chilton ex Man U was our then manager. I’m 82 now and a supporter of Grimsby Town for 75 years and I still rate Jeff as the best player to ever wear a Grimsby Town shirt

Whitefoot, Jeff Jeff played for the school team at Broadway Secondary School Cheadle Cheshire which I also attended. He was an obvious star and destined to play for Man United. Very nice lad and from a very good family. Happy days Jeff!

Whitefoot, Jeff I first saw Jeff play for Nottingham Forest against my local club Tooting & Mitcham Utd in the FA cup in 1960. It was later in life that I came across Jeff by playing against him in a football charity match in Nottingham. Lovely man. Also my I say that Forest had a player by the name of Roy Dwight who as it turned out managed Tooting & Mitcham. Oh by the way Jeff also had a pub in East Leek in Leicestershire by the name of the Three Horseshoes

Whitefoot, Jeff I'm pretty sure that Jeff played in a brass band in the 1950's. Gill St Methodist band, Moston! They used to lead our church to town on Whit Monday!
