Birthplace: Northfield, Birmingham

Position: Utility player

Biography: Birmingham born midfielder who had made almost 400 league appearances for Bristol City and West Brom before bringing his experience to the Pompey team in 1987. He joined on a free transfer and during his two years at the club proved to be a valuable asset, being able to play in a number of positions before leaving for Exeter City in 1989. Became manager of Yeovil Town, returned to Bristol City as Reserve/Youth coach and then joined the PFA as a financial advisor. Clive now works as a fully qualified Financial Adviser with Openwork. Helped Bristol City win promotion to the first division in 1976 scoring the promotion winning goal against Pompey!
