Birthplace: Tonypandy, Wales

Position: Defender

Biography: Was a guest for The Blues during the Second World War, helping them to victory in the 1945 Football League Cup South Final at Wembley, proved to be a bargain signing at £5,000. Became a fixture in the side for the first four post war seasons at right back and was a committee member of the PFA during his time at Stamford Bridge. An ankle injury forced his retirement from the full time game and he returned to south Wales via Worcester City. He worked in the family building business before taking a job for British Airways. Died in Trealaw, South Wales in March 2004 aged 86.
