Withers, Colin He owned a small hotel in Reads Ave the Strathmore i think.Ran it with his wife Audrey wonderful couple very funny man always on about his mother in law.Happy times

Withers, Colin Went up to Blackpool to watch Villa in promotion season 74/75. A friend of a friend booked us into a hotel run by Colin. Osborne Road rings a bell. Met him briefly on the Friday night,after being run around Blackpool by some Man U fans. He showed us some great photos of his time in Holland. Got the impression he loved it there.

Withers, Colin Last bit of info known to me of where colin is, is when Villa played Everton at goodison park in the late 70's, a coach load of us travelled to Blackpool after the game ( which we lost 2-1). We went into a hotel for a drink, & who should we meet, but the owner of the hotel, none other than Colin. He told us all that the first drink was free to us supporters. Such a gentleman. Loved watching him play when at villa park. I remember he used to grin at opposing strikers.
